In spite of an accidental breach of the rules resulting in deletion of the record, TEAM MUGEN ended the race only one step away from gaining points.

Though TEAM MUGEN, and driver Naoki Yamamoto have been recording the time faster than 8th place since the driver Naoki Yamamoto joined TEAM MUGEN in 2011, regrettably they could not make it in this race. The record of TEAM MUGEN in qualifying was deleted due to an accidental breach of the rules. In the race though Yamamoto started in the final position, owing to a good start Yamamoto made an overtaking move to advance to 6th position. But in the end he was re-passed and finished the race in 9th and could not gain points. TEAM MUGEN, and driver Naoki Yamamoto have declared better result to themselves for next race.
