At only the second attempt "MUGEN CR-Z GT" earns pole position!

The #16 MUGEN CR-Z GT which debuted recently at the 4th round of the series held at SPORTSLAND SUGO (Miyagi Pre) in July 28th and 29th, made its second appearance at this round 5 of the 2012 AUTOBACS SUPER GT SERIES.

A magnificent effort during qualifying at this second outing for the car saw the "MUGEN CR-Z GT" take pole position.
However during the early stages of the race, due to quicker abrasion of the tires than anticipated, #16 MUGEN CR-Z GT lost several places, and while trying to make these places back up suffered driveline issues causing the car to retire just before the finish.
With 150 laps completed #16 MUGEN CR-Z GT was classified as having completed the race in 11th place in GT300 class, and 22nd overall.
