"WARNING regarding counterfeit products"

We thank you very much for your purchase and ongoing support of MUGEN products.
However we would like to take this opportunity to make you aware of the prevalence of counterfeit MUGEN products appearing in the market, particularly in south-east Asia.
Many of these counterfeit items are visually very similar to the genuine product therefore we are concerned that some of our customers may purchase such products in error, believing them to be genuine MUGEN products.
Below are some examples of previously confiscated counterfeit products.

Our concern is that such products may damage the cars of our customers, or even more worrying is that they may cause personal injury and/or endanger the life of our customers and other road-users. Because of this, we have taken the decision to make this public announcement in order to raise the public awareness of the existence of counterfeit MUGEN products.
In order to avoid such risks in the future please ensure that you purchase genuine MUGEN products.
We will be taking measures to identify and eradicate counterfeit MUGEN products wherever possible; in the meantime we implore our customers to be alert at all times when purchasing MUGEN products, and to never allow companies and shops to gain profit through the trade of illegal and potentially dangerous counterfeit products.
