MUGEN (M-TEC Co., Ltd. Shin Nagaosa, president) (Hereinafter called MUGEN) announced to release the flag ship model full bucket seat, MS-R and MS-Z, a semi-bucket seat featuring high driver-support performance, with fatigue reduction effect, and easy-access integrated in harmony within the design, collaborated with RECARO.

Full Bucket Seat, “MS-R”
The ultimate full bucket seat satisfying both high holding performance and light weight properties. The main structure of the seat is the shell which is designed to hold the driver securely while enduring strong G-force during cornering, and also contributes to weigh saving. Form and thickness of the urethane are modified to fit each part of the body. The front surface of the seat is covered in Alcantara® which is known as a high durability material with a pleasant feel and texture. The seat completes with the FIA regulations applied in most renowned races including SUPER GT.

When developing a bucket seat two contradictory requirements need to be addressed - that of ergonomic driver support while at the same time providing driver comfort, including easy-access. The shoulders, waist, and thighs should be held securely in priority to other body parts while driving. Even when the upper part of the body is held securely, if the thighs remain free to move, the driver will experience stress or fatigue, which can hinder precise driving. MS-Z is specifically designed to reliably hold and support the shoulders, waist, and thighs and the hardness of the urethane sections in each area is adjusted optimally. Due to such properties, MS-Z can contribute to safety and tireless long-distance driving under any conditions. The front area of MS-Z is covered in Alcantara®

Each of MS-R and MS-Z seat or a set of MS-R with RECARO seat rails and a side adaptor and MS-Z with RECARO seat rails are selectable.
