With the advent of a new generation for the CBR1000RR, HONDA's super sport cycle flagship, comes a need for a new Slip-on Exhaust System.
We've responded with a complete reduction of its weight.
Although prior slip-on exhaust systems for the CBR1000RR were made from titanium and stainless, the new model is of titanium alone.
As a result, it is five percent lighter (with an increase from 47% to 52% compared with the previous STD), contributing to a better center of gravity for the vehicle.
スーパースポーツフラッグシップモデル、CBR1000RRの第二世代への進化に合わせ、無限フルチタンスリップオンエキゾーストシステムにも更なる進化が求められた。
求められた進化への答え、それは徹底した軽量化を施すことである。
これまでのCBR1000RR用スリップオンタイプエキゾーストは、チタン材とステンレス材の2種類の素材を用いて作られたが、それを全てチタン材に変更。
これにより、前タイプよりさらに約5%（前タイプスタンダード比約47%→約52%）の軽量化を図り、マスの集中化（車両中心部に重量を集める事）に貢献する事で、運動性能をさらに向上させると共に、硬質で心地よいエキゾーストノートも獲得した。 |

Although the silencer's internal construction is straight to realize lower exhaust, part of the design concept, a original pentagonal silencer also realizes advance sound dampening.
The exhaust pipe joint features polished titanium. The overall construction is lightened with the use of titanium throughout, from the silencer cover and tail end, to the bunching within the silencer.
無限の設計思想である低排圧を実現する為にサイレンサー内部をストレート構造としながらも、無限オリジナルのペンタゴナルサイレンサーにより消音性能を高次元で両立させている。
エキゾーストパイプジョイント部にはチタン材を削り出しにて使用。サイレンサーカバー、テールエンド部、サイレンサー内部のパンチング全てにチタン材を使用し、徹底した軽量化を図っている。 |

The exhaust pipe is of a two-piece construction to emphasize maintainability.
The exhaist pipe and its welded stays are made from titanium.
The logo also appears on the joint spring rubber joining the pipe and the silencer.
エキゾーストパイプは、整備性を重視した２ピース構造としている。
エキゾーストパイプ、溶接されたステーもチタン材を使用している。
パイプ、サイレンサーをジョイントするジョイントスプリングのラバーにも「無限」ロゴをレイアウトした。 |

A slip-on exhaust system with a full-titanium silencer ＜and a polished silencer cover＞ and a titanium exhaust pipe.
The emblem appears on both sides of the silencer, and the logo is laser-etched at the rear of the silencer and on its band. The logo is also on the joint spring rubber.
JMCA認定品。近接排気音測定値94dB（A）。
フルチタンサイレンサー＜サイレンサーカバーはポリッシュ仕上げ＞、チタンエキゾーストパイプ、スリップオンタイプ。サイレンサー左右に「無限MUGEN」エンブレムを配置し、サイレンサー後部、サイレンサーバンドに「無限MUGEN」ロゴをレーザー印字加工。
